Here's one of the funky 3D scans. The baby's still a little skeletal looking at this stage, but hey, he's only 12 ounces right now and about 9 inches long. He's got his arm up by his head, if you can't tell.
Here's the proof of boyhood, with a handy arrow as placed by the ultrasound technician. I guess it's a "butt up" kind of view.
Here's a pretty good scan of as much baby as will fit in one image frame now. The tech counted up fingers and toes and measured everything and everything looks good. All the stuff that's supposed to be there is there and everything is about the size it's supposed to be.
Here's a little bitty foot.
And a little bitty fist. It didn't look like he was shaking it. We did see him yawn on screen though and he might have been sucking his thumb at one point. He's a definite wiggler. I think the nickname might have to go from "peanut" to "squirmy."

Congrats on that miracle of life thing! Boyz rule, girls drool! (Aw who am I kidding...when girl #2 comes in February, all the maleness will be pretty much expunged from my house!)

See, that's what I'm worried about :-) I'll be officially outnumbered after March. We've kept the balance so far (one boy cat, one girl cat), but now I'll be in the minority.
How's Amy doing?? And Zoe?
Amy can appreciate your dilemma in trying to button up over a bellyful of baby. She says that this tyke treats her body like a dance club all night long, and I can confirm same when the belly is in my back.
Zoe has a little anxiety that bacteria may "eat her teeth", thanks to a school visit from the dentist. But other than that, she's the happiest gal I know.
Zoe is a sweetie-pie, just like her Dad and Mum. Though hopefully she can't put away the beer like you can :-)
Our little guy is most active at night too. Haven't felt too much kicking around yet, but what I do feel is almost all at night.
